Quite a remarkable man. Not much is known about the Duke but he really was quite something when you research his history.

A no BS kinda guy, forward thinking and progressive. He changed the royal household forever with the idea of televising HRH Queen Elizabeth’s coronation.

It was certainly a ‘privileged life’ but by no accounts an ‘easy life’, one should not confuse the two.

Through adversity, scandal, tragedy and celebration, Prince Philip has been the backbone of The House of Windsor and and anchor for Her Majesty.

Whether you are a royalist or not, it cannot be ignored that this man has done some amazing things for the country and its people and carved a legacy that will continue to benefit so many more.

If you ever needed an example of dedication, loyalty and understanding of love... Prince Philip is it.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN, and may she long continue to reign even without her best friend by her side.
