When life gets hard, JUST GO HARDER.

I can not stress enough what the power of exercise has done for me mentally.
I've never made a secret of how I suffer some excruciating bouts of anxiety and depression, I think it important to openly talk about this kind of stuff to 'normalise' it in an attempt to shed the taboo.
I am an empath and a highly sensitive person (no this doesn’t mean I’m a wallflower or cry when seeing a puppy) it means I feel EVERYTHING. from EVERYONE. ALL THE TIME.I am the person that meets a stranger and whos their life story within 10 mins. It's wonderful that people trust and open up to me but it’s exhausting. Like, really exhausting.
I’ve always enjoyed movement and being an ex dancer, movement has always been my way of expression.
Now when the world gets heavy I take on a different kind of weight. I find pushing myself brings about a sense of accomplishment for ME. I can battle through a different type of pain and for that time block out everything else.
I choose to train on my own. I like the peace and the isolation. I know it’s not for everyone, but I am a self admitted 'loner', and I am fine with that. Being by myself I can focus on MYSELF, which is much needed as my headspace is usually so consumed worrying, thinking, doing for others. And for that time, I can do anything.
