F E E L T H E S T I L L .

Studies have show that whilst staying active physically & mentally keep us ‘young’ and living a longer life... in fact the type of mental stimulation most of us are undertaking now in such a digitally motivated society could indeed be detrimental. The study has proven that the brain and the mind need ‘stillness & quiet’ in order to work effectively, to capacity and to prolong the lifespan.


Regular time allocated to ‘clearing the mind’, quieting the chatter - in yoga known as the ‘Vrittis’ and slowing the throughly process is vital.


This is why yoga is a perfect balance of body & mind. I have many students tell me that for the 50 minutes we are moving through Asana & Pranayama (movement & breath) it is the only time they switch off and really do not think of work/home/personal stuff. And I can agree, this is the same for me too.


There is something about a yoga mat that creates a little box of space - sacred space where you can free yourself completely.

We invite new yogis all the time. Please don’t be shy, it doesn’t matter if you have never practice yoga before, think you are the most inflexible person on the planet or are worried to come alone. Everyone is the same, I promise you. Remember who you are doing it for... YOU.
